A punctual knowledge of the anatomical structures in mandibular and maxillary areas can improve the success of your daily clinical procedures. By practicing and mimicing surgical procedures on human cadavers, anatomical structures (like nerves, blood vessels, etc.) and their location within the mandibular and maxillary areas can be observed in a scenario resembling what you will experience in your patients. Participants will learn • “Clinical oriented” dissection on cadaver of the related muscle and neurovascular tissues • How to prevent and manage intra- and post- haemorrhage and neurosensorial complications • The application of the main basic and advanced techniques of regenerative surgery around dental implants, including the biomaterial grafting. CLINICAL CONTENTS • Theoretical teaching part with explanatory dissection and clinical videos • Dissection on cadaver, from the elevation of full-thickness and partial-thickness flaps to the dissection of the anatomical structures that surrounds the surgical area THE HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE The hands-on will be the focal part of this educational experience and will be conducted on anatomical preparations of fresh frozen cadavers to provide an ideal superimposability to the living person.
