"Orthodontics today is much more than just moving teeth – it’s the joints, airways, profile, occlusion, nose and jawline. We are considering the evolution of the face. The Carriere system is biomimetic, minimalistic and noninvasive in its approach. We aim to minimise invasive treatment while creating facial harmony by positively affecting the patient's skeletal, postural, functional and dental dimensions." - Dr. Luis Carrière

During this one-day course in London, Dr. Luis Carrière demonstrates how to correct class II or class III malocclusions at the beginning of treatment, before bracketing, and when patient compliance levels are at their highest, providing unique efficiencies and results with minimal extractions. In addition, he shows delegates how transition to a passive self-ligating system, which provides treatment efficiencies over traditional mechanics.

This new unique and innovative treatment approach ensures that the orthodontist addresses the total facial harmony of the patient. Dr Carrière's informal and interactive lecturing method makes for a wonderfully relaxed way of teaching for all participants. He covers case studies using before-and-after photos and clinical tips, as well as offering delegates a Q&A session.

9:00am – 12:00pm: SAGITTAL FIRST with Passive Self Ligation: A Combination for Success

SAGITTAL FIRST is revolutionizing the way Orthodontists are treating patients through-out the world. Dr. Carrière will review clinical evidence that validates the impact of correcting the AP and repositioning of the mandible at the beginning of treatment. Dr. Carrière will share some of his most complex Class II and Class III cases and show how he is able to avoid extractions, obtain facial harmony and achieve extraordinary long-term stable results. Dr. Carrière will also provide clinical evidence to support the many benefits of combining SAGITTAL FIRST with Passive Self Ligation. This unique combination allows Clinicians to achieve efficient, predicable results and consistent shorter treatment times.

Learning Objectives
• Recognize the benefits of correcting a Class II or Class III malocclusion at the beginning of treatment
• Realize the treatment efficiencies related to combining SAGITTAL FIRST with Passive Self-Ligation
• Challenge your view of the traditional orthodontic workflow
• Recognize the future standard of care in the orthodontic arena

1:00pm – Lunch

2:00pm – 4:30pm: Clear Aligners Therapy: A New Technology for Optimal Treatment Efficiencies

Class II malocclusions represent one of the most frequent scenarios in which treatment with Clear Aligners can become challenging related to both number of trays needed and patient compliance. Creating a Class I platform before starting Aligners, reduces treatment times significantly while also correcting the Molar position and stabilizing the Occlusion. Dr. Carrière will share his exceptional clinical results and innovative treatment protocols and show how he is able to dramatically increase the efficiency of his Aligner cases.

Learning Objectives
• Understand the benefits of obtaining a Class I Platform prior to clear aligner treatment to reduce number of Aligners needed and overall treatment times
• Be able to expand the number of Aligner cases treated and reduce interproximal stripping dramatically
• Learn how to treat Aligner cases with fewer attachments.
